About: Multigenerational households and individuals who value shared cooking, durability, and cultural continuity. Artefactos is a cookware system made from sustainably sourced materials, designed for longevity, tactile use, and shared food preparation. Manufactured in Los Angeles, intended for both indoor kitchens and outdoor cooking environments. The project explores how cookware can support ritual, function, and durability. Inspired by Indigenous food preparation practices observed at ancestral sites, Artefactos translates elemental, open-air cooking methods into contemporary forms—prioritizing material honesty, heat performance, and objects designed to be used, passed down, and remembered.
